I want to take this opportunity to tell you about some changes in my life. I am now beginning a new phase in my professional journey and will no longer be the Medical Director of Miraval's Integrative Wellness Program. I will be spending the fall working on my next book, Quick and Dirty Living, and devoting time to specific projects I have the fortunate opportunity to be involved with outside of my current medical practice.
It has been a pleasure and a privilege working with everyone at Miraval. These past three years have been some of the happiest of my life. I believe in the healing power of Miraval -- the place and its people -- and will continue to support it in any way that I can.

Jim Nicolai, M.D., is the former Medical Director of the Integrative Wellness Program at Miraval Resort and Spa, one of the first interactive integrative wellness programs of its kind at a destination spa resort.
